On February 7, 2025, in Murmansk, at the regional center of additional education for children "Laplandiya", the regional rally of the "Young Polar Explorers" movement was held, which also became a qualifying stage for the All-Russian ecological rally "Our Planet". The region has about 450 members of the movement in 11 municipalities, working in 16 educational institutions.
JSC Marine Arctic Geological Expedition, a long-time partner of "Laplandiya" and the young polar explorers, presented its stand at the career guidance exhibition. At the stand, the students could learn about the work of a marine geologist and geophysicist, get an idea of how the Earth's interior is explored underwater.
